Senior Rust Engineer — Blockchain Infrastructure & Distributed Systems

Project Overview

The platform is focused on building high-performance infrastructure for automated digital asset trading and transaction execution. The system processes real-time blockchain data, identifies market opportunities, and coordinates execution across multiple liquidity sources and external infrastructure providers. The environment combines low-latency backend engineering, distributed systems, blockchain integrations, and production-grade infrastructure. Strong emphasis is placed on reliability, observability, performance optimization, and operational safety for systems interacting with live financial flows.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help design and evolve core trading infrastructure and execution services. This is a hands-on engineering role for someone comfortable working across backend development, distributed systems, blockchain integrations, and production operations.

You will contribute to systems responsible for real-time opportunity processing, execution orchestration, transaction lifecycle management, and platform reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend services for real-time event processing, execution workflows, and transaction management using Rust.
• Build integrations with third-party APIs, liquidity providers, and blockchain infrastructure services.
• Improve execution reliability, latency, and system performance across distributed components.
• Develop automated monitoring, alerting, and operational safeguards to ensure system stability and risk control.
• Deploy and maintain production services running in Kubernetes-based environments.
• Work with cloud infrastructure, observability tooling, and CI/CD pipelines to support highly available systems.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and optimize systems across the full stack.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience with Rust and asynchronous/concurrent programming patterns.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, backend architecture, and performance-sensitive applications.
• Experience working with blockchain technologies, transaction systems, or digital asset infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, schema design, and query optimization.
• Experience operating production systems with monitoring, logging, and automated recovery mechanisms.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience building and maintaining complex backend systems.

Nice to Have

• Experience with blockchain transaction pipelines, execution systems, or DeFi-related infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Ethereum tooling or ecosystem libraries.
• Experience with AWS infrastructure and infrastructure-as-code tooling.
• Understanding of smart contracts and blockchain integration patterns.
• Experience building low-latency or high-throughput systems in financial or trading environments.
