We’re looking for a Rust protocol engineer to join the team and contribute to building a next-generation Ethereum block builder, extending block construction capabilities and enabling new DeFi primitives at the builder layer.
What you’ll work on
- Design and implement block construction and transaction ordering logic
- Build and maintain builder ↔ relay communication systems
- Work on PBS / MEV-Boost integrations and infrastructure
- Develop low-latency, production-grade services in Rust
- Design and run deterministic simulations and safety checks
- Contribute to new DeFi primitives enabled by advanced block building capabilities
- Improve performance, reliability, and observability of block builder systems
Requirements
- Strong experience with Rust (production systems, networking, performance)
- Deep understanding of Ethereum internals (execution + consensus basics)
- Solid knowledge of PBS, MEV, and block building ecosystem
- Experience building low-latency or distributed systems
- Ability to work on protocol-level problems (ordering, incentives, timing)
