General:
● 4+ years of commercial experience with Python AQA
● Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field of study
● Track record of working in Scrum / Agile software teams
● Proficient spoken and written English

Technical Skills :
● 6+ years of relevant QA technical experience within an agile (continuous deployment)
environment, preferably in e-commerce and start-ups
● Programming in an interpreted language, preferably Python
● Strong web testing and QA Methodologies within SDLC (Smoke, Regression, etc.)
● Experience with Black-Box testing cross-browsers and mobile devices — creating
functional, boundary, edge, etc. test cases
● Basic SQL syntax for data validation
● Working knowledge of web debugging and inspection tools (Firebug, Fiddler,
Charles, etc.)
● Experience with automation tools and test frameworks
● Understands Behavioral Driven Development (Cucumber and Gherkin are pluses)
● Keyword-driven automation is a plus
● Ability to understand and create clear, concise detail-oriented test plans/cases from
requirements or verbal communications
● Strong verbal and written communication skills
● Knowledge utilizing Atlassian Suite (Jira/Confluence/BitBucket)
● Experience in REST API testing, GIT source control, Jenkins, Linux Command Line, Virtual
Machines

● Develop, document, and maintain automation test suites and other test artifacts, identify use-cases, negative testing, etc.
● Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements, and design
test coverage plan ● Execute and evaluate automated test cases and report test results
● Back-end database testing in Microsoft SQL environment including validating stored
procs and jobs and triggers where applicable
● Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members
● Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality
issues immediately to management
● Help with issue classification and Triage — isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify
defect fixes
● Be a thought leader in advancing the QA program — identifying areas for optimization,
efficiency, and increased coverage
