-3+ years of commercial experience in AQA
-Track record of working in Scrum / Agile software teams
-At least Intermediate spoken and written English
-4+ years of relevant QA technical experience within an agile (continuous deployment) environment, preferably in e-commerce and start-ups
-Programming in an interpreted language, preferably Python
-Strong web testing and QA Methodologies within SDLC (Smoke, Regression, etc.)
-Experience with Black-Box testing cross-browsers — creating functional, boundary, edge, etc. test cases
-Basic SQL syntax for data validation
-Working knowledge of web debugging and inspection tools (Firebug, Fiddler, Charles, etc.)
-Experience with automation tools and test frameworks
-Ability to understand and create clear, concise detail-oriented test plans/cases from requirements or verbal communications
-Strong verbal and written communication skills
-Knowledge utilizing Atlassian Suite (Jira/Confluence/BitBucket)
-Experience in REST API testing, GIT source control, Jenkins, Linux Command Line, Virtual Machines

-Perform Testing web-based applications and web-services (REST)
-Design, write and execute test cases and test plans
-Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members
-Design and execute performance tests
-Work with the developers to resolve issues
-Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements, and design test coverage
-Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management
-Help with issue classification and Triage — isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes
-Day-to-day communication with the customer
-Develop, document, and maintain automation test suites and other test artifacts, identify use-cases, negative testing, etc.
-Plan, design and create automated API and UI tests
-Execute and evaluate automated test cases and report test results
-Backend database testing in Microsoft SQL environment including validating stored procs and jobs and triggers where applicable
