Because of the consistent growth of our business, NerdySoft is looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to continue delivering great quality services to our clients.
Requirements :
— 5 + years of full-time practice in the management area and 2+ years as a Sr.Project Manager/ Delivery Manager/Program Manager;
— Experience in managing 40+ FTE (4+ cross-functional teams in parallel);
PM/Team Lead supervision skills;
— Expertise in managing different types of projects: Fixed price, Time and Material, dedicated team, staff augmentation;
— Proficient in full ownership of portfolio development (strategic planning, budget management, scope, schedule, quality, people development) aligns with the customer business priorities, KPI and company goals;
— Experience in acting as the main point of contact for clients or stakeholders (management expectation, conflict/escalation management, risk mitigation, customer satisfaction, account development);
— Practice supervision of the hiring process experience;
— Confident in Agile project management methodologies;
— Strong knowledge of SDLC and methodologies;
— Experience with pre-sales process leading and forming offers;
— Presentation skills;
— Advanced level of written and verbal English;
— The possibility of traveling abroad for business trips to clients.
Would be a plus:
— Technical background as a Software engineer, QA engineer, DevOps engineer, etc.;
— Expertise in the Fintech domain;
— Experience in PM mentoring, PMs’ team leading.
Responsibilities:
Portfolio management:
— Develop and maintain a portfolio strategy that aligns with the organization’s business priorities, KPIs, and company goals;
— Manage the portfolio budget, tracking expenses and ensuring alignment with financial goals;
— Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand strategic goals and objectives;
— Set up the management strategy for the projects (management framework, team structure, account development);
— Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address potential issues;
— Prepare and deliver regular portfolio status reports to stakeholders;
— Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, schedules, and reports.
Client Focus:
— Act as the main point of contact for clients or stakeholders;
Maintain effective communication with business stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, changes, and potential impacts;
— Address stakeholder concerns and ensure transparency in decision-making;
— Manage client expectations and ensure customer satisfaction;
— Gather feedback and incorporate it into project improvements.
People Focus:
— Foster a collaborative and positive work environment;
— Resolve conflicts and challenges that arise within the project team;
— Provide PM/Team Lead supervision;
— Supervise the hiring process;
— Take part in performance and salary review of team members.
Presale process:
— Work closely with the sales team to understand client requirements and tailor presale efforts and solutions proposals accordingly;
— Collaborate with sales and technical teams to ensure accurate representation of the offerings.
