Buyer

We are looking for a Junior Buyer to join our growing production team.

Your main mission is simple: make sure production has the right materials, at the right time.

You will work closely with Production, Warehouse, Engineering and suppliers, handling everything from MRP requirements and purchase orders to delivery follow-up and supplier agreements.

What you will do

• Process MRP requirements and create and follow up purchase orders
• Ensure materials are available according to production needs
• Follow up suppliers, deliveries, prices and lead times
• Identify and solve potential material shortages or delays
• Communicate with Norwegian and international suppliers
• Support supplier contracts, price agreements and renewals
• Work closely with Production and Warehouse to prioritise urgent needs
• Help improve our purchasing and material-planning processes

What we are looking for

You are quick, smart, structured and proactive. You take ownership, communicate clearly and enjoy solving problems.

Ideally, you have:

• 1–3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, logistics or material planning
• Good Excel skills and experience with ERP/MRP systems
• Good Norwegian and English
• A practical and commercial mindset
