Chief Marketing Officer (MilTech / DefTech)
We are seeking a strategic Chief Marketing Officer to build and lead a high-impact marketing function at the intersection of defense, innovation, and international cooperation.
This is a key leadership role for someone who sees marketing not as support, but as a strategic instrument shaping market positioning, government engagement, and long-term growth within the defense sector.
Mission
To define and execute a data-driven marketing strategy, strengthen the company’s reputation in the defense ecosystem, and drive positioning across government (B2G), commercial (B2B), and international markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a long-term, analytics-based marketing strategy aligned with corporate objectives
- Lead market intelligence and competitive analysis within MilTech / Defense (government programs, tenders, UAVs, AI, cybersecurity, C2 systems)
- Conduct market segmentation, demand forecasting, and opportunity assessment for domestic and export markets
- Define product positioning and value propositions based on data, customer insights, and defense procurement dynamics
- Oversee brand, communications, PR, and international representation
- Support strategic negotiations and communication for public tenders and international programs
- Build and lead a high-performing marketing team; manage budget, KPIs, performance metrics, and ROI
Requirements
- 5+ years in senior marketing leadership (technology, defense, innovation, or public sector preferred)
- Strong expertise in B2G / B2B marketing and public procurement environments
- Proven experience in market analytics, performance measurement, and strategic planning
- Experience building or scaling a marketing function
- Fluency in Ukrainian and English
- Strategic mindset, analytical thinking, high integrity, and strong executive presence
