QA Automation Lead (вакансія неактивна)

We are seeking a Lead QA Automation Engineer with a proven track record in mobile testing to play a pivotal role in the testing of our cutting-edge media project (news and information). The successful candidate will work closely with our cross-functional team and be the key liaison between management, development, and the QA team.
Our client is a prominent media company in the USA, specializing in cross-promotion of digital and audio content. The current project involves the development and improvement of an existing app that enables users to control and sort out the news, information, and social media content they consume.

Requirements:

6+ years of experience in automated testing, with a minimum of 3 years using JavaScript

Proficient experience with Karma and Appium

Proficiency in Android/iOS testing

Analytical and adaptive mindset

Ability to translate project requirements into actionable tasks

Excellent communication skills to engage with management, developers, and other QAs

Leadership qualities to guide other QAs when needed

Passion for mobile testing, adaptability, and a continuous learning mindset

Expertise in NativeScript will be a plus

Upper-intermediate or Advanced English

Responsibilities:

Lead the development of functional test use cases using Karma and Mocha/Jasmine, NativeScript

Create JavaScript test scripts to be executed on AWS Device Farm

Efficiently observe, log, and report bugs via Azure DevOps

Collaborate with the development team to maintain and enhance test scripts

Document and maintain functional test documentation

Configuring and optimizing AWS services to ensure system efficiency and high availability
