We are looking for a high-performance Lead Software Engineer for US-based Client that brings charging solutions to new communities and enables the access needed for a truly electrified future.

Project — a network of EV charging stations. We unlock EV charger access and supply free power to EV drivers in all communities. Their team has experience in the mobility, software, and energy technology industries, and a diverse skill set including product management, data science, software, and hardware development.

Must have:

  • 5+ years in Python development
  • Experience in creating software architecture and leading technical team
  • Hands-on with web frameworks, and how to integrate with external APIs
  • Some experience with one of the Javascript frameworks
  • Strong in deploying software using cloud solutions in AWS or GCP
  • Experience with building containerized software with Docker
  • Strong experience developing simple web user interfaces
  • Familiar with systems design, event-driven architectures, and understand how to define interfaces and scope software components
  • Upper-Intermediate English and better

    • Responsibilities:

  • Build high-quality, reusable and reliable Python code and based on agreed-upon designs and architecture
  • Full development lifecycle of software development; requirements analysis, design, development, testing, implementation; and release management
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the backend development team
  • Keep projects on track, set milestones, troubleshoot roadblocks, write documentation, and coordinate with stakeholders
