We are looking for a Senior Go/C backend developer for our UK client to build modular scalable solutions around operations and service management for some of Europe’s largest and most innovative carriers.
Project - providing solutions to complex challenges within the telecommunications sector.
The domain entails data-intensive services where security, data integrity and uptime are key. This presents lots of interesting design and coding challenges as we build and integrate our technology. They’re utilizing established IP-based protocols and frameworks.
Team — UK (the team is mostly distributed)
Requirements:
4+ years of experience with Go, or good familiarity with Go in addition to another statically typed or back-end language applied in a Linux environment
Understanding/ experience with ASN.1 protocol
Experience with SS7 Protocol stack
Solid coding and solution design skills, accrued in a modern application back-end context
Strong API design and SQL skills
An ability to get to grips with complex requirements, to uphold security of sensitive data and to conform to best practices
A shared belief in writing code that’s efficient, well-tested, documented and maintainable
Experience with AWS, Terraform etc.
Intermediate English level
Responsibilities:
The engineers will not work on one project. This company works with industry leaders such as Vodafone, At&T Verizon and more so the tasks will be varied depending on the need
The role will include interesting design and coding challenges and will allow engineers to learn and grow within the field. As an engineer you can anticipate a mix of well-defined projects, along with substantial exploratory work as you validate concepts and build new solutions
