Senior Full-Stack (Python/JS) Engineer (вакансія неактивна)

We are looking for Senior Full-Stack (Python/JS) Engineer to join the team a leading tech product for TV and Film production in both the UK and US.

Product — a people-centric SaaS platform that helps production teams manage their crew, cast and other collaborators; casting directors get the right people on set and freelancers manage and control their career. This client has four focuses with the platform- Production, Casting, background artist, and crew portals

This company founded in 2014, has a bright future having already worked on UK and Hollywood blockbusters including but not limited to Bridgerton, Wonder Woman, The Crown Season 1-4, The Old Guard, Star Wars the Rise of Skywalker, Bohemian Rhapsody, Mission Impossible 6, etc.
They work with the people behind huge film franchises like: Avengers, Fast & Furious, James Bond, Venom.

Requirements:

4+ years experience with Python

2+ years experience with Javascript and Typescript

Experience with Postgres

Experience with AWS

If you know similar technologies such as Ruby, MySql or Azure we are happy to help you expand your knowledge to new areas if you are willing to try something outside of what you are familiar with

Hopefully you will prefer the freedom to refine your ways of working instead of following a prescribed process

Responsibilities:

You will be working as part of a cross-functional team tackling a specific business problem which might be enhancing some of our existing functionality to help make it more useful or creating a whole new feature set for a new audience. Whatever happens the work is going to be varied

Every quarter we are breaking new ground so there’ll be pieces of brand-new work to do alongside refining the existing features and stamping out the bugs we find as our software gets more widely adopted

As a team we encourage internal training and knowledge sharing sessions and to make this work for everyone we’d like you to contribute to sharing what you know as well as learning from others

We have a regular technical showcase that runs alongside the feature showcase for the rest of the business. We are looking for people who enjoy collaboration and want to engage with and understand our client’s needs while bringing a technological understanding of what our existing solutions can do and how it can be expanded to meet new problems
