Requirements:
Specialist CPE engineers with SME knowledge of DOCSIS, and In Home Connectivity protocols such as Wi-Fi, IP, DOCSIS, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, TR69 etc. Highly experienced with CPE and edge Management platforms such as CMTS, Soft Switch, ACS, cable modem provisioning, DNS, CNR etc.Deep knowledge in de-bugging, troubleshooting and analysis of complex software systems remotely (though logs and telemeter) in lab environment highly complex faults including interoperability with end-user devicesHighly analytical with good scripting and/or programming skills (bash, python, Perl or Java) and ability to apply statistical techniques to solve problemsExperience with complex technology projects and test, certification and system integration activities in the telecommunications, cable, and/or media industries proven track record with Software development and related project delivery activities Advantageous: STB and DTV Middleware platforms and Video Delivery technologies across different networksExperience with Kibana, Grafana, SQLIntermediate level of English language
Responsibilities:
Execution of local CPE testing before deployment trials for Country Validation tests and for CM and MTA bootfile changesExecution of the TFT activities required to ensure a smooth transition of new CPE software and hardware, as well as the activation of new productsExecution of the OFT & mass rollout activities as required to ensure a smooth transition of new CPE software and hardware, as well as the activation of new productsAssure 3rd level support for CPE issues coming from the TFT, OFT, but also normal operations. Act as a glue between the country operations and the T&I organization and further the different CPE vendors to identify the root cause of the CPE operational issues, find possible workarounds to be appliedWork with the Testing and Connectivity departments to improve the early detection of similar issues and prevent them to re-occur
