We are looking for experienced Software Engineer (OTT video testing) for the multinational consulting, software services, and operations company that is singularly focused on the telecom/DSP industry. Company partners with leading creators of a hyper-connected world. Their customers range from telecom operators, digital and multi-service providers (D/MSPs), and technology companies in the business of connectedness.

Experience in validation of end customers video products, in pre-production and production environments
Experience in translating Product or technical User Stories into new validation test cases < /li>
Experience in quality validation of Android, IOS, Web, Apple TV, Android TV clients
Experience in Quality STB validation
Technical and functional understanding of video platforms and middleware (iDA, eDA, VSPP and HALO, Irdeto)
Solid understanding OTT based playout (Dash, HLS, SS) including manifest signaling, DRM (Irdeto)
Experience with Scrum and Agile methodologies and confluence suite tools (Wiki / Jira)
Experience in using monitoring tools like Conviva, Kibana, Grafana, ODH, Dynatrace
Fluent in English with effective written, verbal presentation & communication skills.

Translate product or technical User Stories into new/updated test cases, for the new features or bug fixes to be delivered as part of a change (release/hotfix/change), in particular for country specific features or settings.
Support the Pre-Post deployment & validation activities for preproduction and production environments
Execute test cases for the specific country as part of the TFT/OFT, coordinates TFT/OFT with the countries
Ensure all issues (identified by TD/Countries/Ops) are properly assessed, prioritized, documented and raised in the appropriate systems.
Perform triage of the identifies issues, which may include but is not limited to issue replication across platforms and countries, log gathering... etc
Follow up on the issues to provide regular progress updates to the countries
Involve relevant technical teams to resolve identified issues
Create and/or implement fixes for the reported issues when available and as part of the change & release process
Translate bug list into technical requirements and test cases where appropriate
