The NCube team is looking for a great and experienced Project/Delivery Manager.

Purpose of the Role:

The Project/Delivery Manager is responsible for managing, monitoring and improving the Project/Delivery Process. This process encompasses Requirements Development, Architectural Process, Requirements Grooming, Sprints, and Releases. The Project/Delivery Manager ensures that quality gates between each step of the defined process are fit for purpose and adhere to. The Project/Delivery Manager ensures that any blockers are assigned and resolved in a reasonable timeframe to keep change moving. The delivery manager ensures the teams’ scrum process runs and measures efficiency and output.

A Typical Day:

Arrive in the office and review yesterday’s process. Join and facilitate daily standup for the scrum team. Remove or resolve all blockers. Ensure all requirements for the next sprint are ready and if not ensure the people needed are working on them. Arrange and facilitate grooming, planning, standups, review, and retrospectives.

Responsibilities:

• Process Management.
• Ensures process improvements are defined, tracked, communicated and undertaken in an orderly manner.
• Arranges and keeps actions for Triage, Grooming, Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-up, Sprint Review, and Release Planning meetings.
• Ensures that the defined process is being followed for all software development changes.
• Requirements Development.
• Arranges Triage meetings and ensures that any actions raised during these meetings are assigned and reviewed during the following triage meeting.
• Maintain a list of Quality Gate requirements that all cards must satisfy to proceed to development.
• Release Management.
• Manages the release process to ensure that releases are undertaken according to our standard process.
• Continuous Improvement.
• Seek and identify opportunities to improve the delivery process.
• Actively participate in Sprint Retrospectives and ensure that a prioritized list of process improvements is retained and executed.
