Ability to work effectively in small teams while interfacing with 3rd party groups
Experience in developing and maintaining CI/CD process for enterprise SaaS and on-prem applications using tools like Git, Subversion, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory etc
Expertise in Linux System Admin and Bash Scripting
Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible
Experience with one or more Monitoring/Alerts tools like Prometheus, TICK stack, Pingdom, PagerDuty, etc.
Ability to write Python scripts
Hands-on experience in build and administer VMs and Containers using tools such as Docker, Vagrant, Kubernetes
Experience with RESTful API’s, JSON, SOAP, etc.

Jira integration
Understand the test automation infrastructure to validate the builds in the CI/CD pipeline
Big Data applications support such as Hadoop and Kafka
Be able to understand and fix basic code in Java based applications

Write custom code and scripts to automate infrastructure, monitoring services, test cases, and metrics gathering.
Provide best practices knowledge for writing automated CI/CD pipelines and integrations between CI/CD toolchain.
Work closely with development teams to ensure that solutions are designed with customer user experience, scale/performance and operability in mind
Work with software architects, developers, and security teams in gathering and developing system and application requirements.
Work leveraging Agile software development strategies
Bridge between the silos and bring different teams together to work towards a common goal
Assess and optimize technical processes, providing documentation around tools, applications, and inter-departmental processes.

As the next leap of improvements, company seeks help in creation of DevOps culture and leading the implementation of continuous integration and continuous delivery for the Application Development teams. This is a hands-on technical role, with a high degree of collaboration.
