Qualification specifications:
— 1+ year experience in gamedev analytics/data science
— Knowledge of popular analytic tools, like (Gameanalytics, Flurry, DeltaDNA or similar)
— Ability to define necessary statistical parameters for new game features in order to be able to measure its efficienc
— Strong programming and prototyping skills in R or Python
— Strong experience with SQL
— Knowledge of statistics/descriptive analysis
— Good understanding of software development methodologies
— Good communication skills and good English
— Experience partnering with engineering and/or software/game development teams
— Expertise in automating and deploying models in production systems
— Strong problem solving skills
— Strong written and spoken communication skills
— Passion for video games

Responsibilities and job specifics:
— Design KPIs to measure the health of various aspects of the game: economy, balance
— Track key metrics of several various projects developed by N-iX on daily basis and suggest solutions to improve the overall performance
— Define the list of parameters or events that have to be sent to analytic services, which then can be used to understand the efficiency of new feature, system, etc.
— Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
— Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality
— Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
— Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
— Research and develop state-of-the-art machine learning, data mining and statistical modeling solutions to understand game design, system performance and key business behaviors, such as player acquisition, retention, and monetization
— Design and develop innovative predictive models for applications like matchmaking, recommendation systems, targeted marketing, etc.
— Effectively translate statistical findings into actionable recommendations for senior leaders on game design and business teams
