This is an exciting opportunity for a Lead .NET C# Developer to join a fun and hardworking team of Developers and QAs, who are going through an expansion phase to support the rapid growth of a business which has already lent over £1 billion to date.

Overview of .NET C# Developer role
Part of a team of .NET Developers, following Agile Development principles and working in Scrum Teams with a Product Manager and QA to deliver high quality work in 2 week sprints
Full stack development, but main focus is on the server side
JIRA to manage Development tasks, Confluence as a Wiki, Bitbucket (Git), HipChat IM, Splunk
Essential Skills
.NET (C#), ASP.NET (MVC, WebForms, Web API), LINQ
Good JavaScript, Angular, CSS and HTML skills
Experience building highly scalable and available e-commerce systems
Understanding of core principles and experience building SOA/Microservices solutions.
Profound understanding of Design Patterns and SOLID principles.
Cloud based development and delivery platforms (ideally Microsoft Azure)
Strong T-SQL and MS SQL skills
Ability to write clean, maintainable and testable code
Agile / Scrum
Good communications skills
Degree educated or equivalent
Desirable Skills
Understanding of Continuous Delivery and best practices.
Knowledge of modern JavaScript eco-system (Angular2, TypeScript, NPM, Bower, Gulp, Redux architecture, etc.)
Understanding of Azure Service Fabric, Docker containers
Experience breaking monolithic systems and extraction of microservices
Ideal candidate should understand and follow the revolution in .NET Core world.
Financial services experience, but this is not essential as we will teach you what you need to know
