Trainee QA Engineer (#1475)

N-iX is looking for a Trainee QA Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis.

About project

It is a web application that focuses on the trading market and provides corporate clients with a comprehensive suite of customisation products, offering transparency, flexibility and predictability. The main goal of it is to allow clients to gain exposure to the market and transparently extract a return.

• Industry: FinTech;
• Team size: 10;
• Team location: Lviv and London

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring Slack and Teams, emails for customer requests to respond quickly. Create a support ticket following the process;
• Problem investigating and finding a workaround when it could be applied;
• Writing different kinds of documentation: instruction, test cases, etc;
• Helping the QA team with regression testing;
• Working with the manager to improve the project based on user experience;
• Updating your manager and customers on progress with support requests;
• Participating in all meetings required for a smooth support process;

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of software QA methodologies;
• Good knowledge of the Scrum development process;
• Good knowledge of how to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
• Attention to details
• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude will be a plus
• Working knowledge of test management software (Testrail) will be a plus
• Good organizational skills
• Good communication skills: English language on an intermediate level.
• Ukrainian language Advanced or higher
