As a Learning and Development Manager you will be in charge of the Leadership Development stream ensuring that managers have the knowledge and skills required to excel in their roles, contribute to the organization’s success, and adapt to the ever-changing needs of the business and industry. You will design, implement, and manage learning and development programs/projects for managers to advance their skills for business growth and excellence in management.

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitating Learning and Development Needs:

  • Skills Development: Facilitate the development of employees’ skills and competencies
  • Aligning with Business Goals: Work closely with senior leadership and department heads to align training programs with the organization’s strategic goals
  • Identifying Training Needs: Assess the skill gaps and training needs within the organization

Providing and Delivering Learning and Development Solutions:

  • Designing Training Programs: Design and develop training programs that address identified needs
  • Delivery and Implementation: Oversee the delivery and implementation of training programs, often using various training delivery methods and technologies
  • Evaluation and Improvement: Assess the effectiveness of training initiatives
  • Managing External Partners: Work with external training vendors or partners to supplement in-house training efforts
  • Budget Management: Responsible for managing the training budget, ensuring that training programs are cost-effective and provide a good return on investment

Staying Updated with L&D Methodology and EdTech:

  • Incorporating Innovation: Stay updated with innovative training methodologies and technologies to enhance the engagement and effectiveness of training, such as e-learning platforms, virtual reality, and gamification
  • Content Development: Create or oversee the creation of training materials, resources, and content, including manuals, presentations, e-learning modules, and job aids
  • Training Delivery: Deliver training programs for employees and middle managers within the organization

Contributing to Talent Development and Engagement:

  • Talent Development: Play a role in individual employee development and career planning, often working in collaboration with HR for succession planning
  • Talent Engagement and Acquisition: Supporting corporate culture development, using the possibilities of educational partnerships and memberships for employees, developing partnership with universities and educational programmes for new employees attraction


  • 5+ year experience of working in L&D or related areas (Business Education, HR, Project Management, Change Management)
  • Experience in training and development in a leadership or managerial capacity — as a must
  • Professional certifications related to training and development, such as Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) or similar credentials, can be an advantage
  • IT industry-specific knowledge — understanding the particular training needs and requirements of the industry is highly valued and is an advantage
  • Upper-Intermediate + written and spoken English
  • Familiarity with learning management systems, e-learning platforms, and other training technology
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Prominent presentation skills
  • Exceptional communication skills, both in writing and verbally
  • Strong project management skills
