Technology Office designs and executes industry-relevant inventions that allow organizations to realize exceptional business value from technology. We are looking for an energetic and passionate Senior Pega Engineer, who can bring their experience and knowledge to our Technology Office team.
About the project:
Our Client is a leading Australian company that helps their client to design a high-quality program that meets their needs and will make the most difference. They specialize in creating health and well-being programs that truly provide care for employees during their work routine. One of the key directions is the development of an employee portal. The project uses microservice architecture, REST, and is transitioning to cloud-based infrastructure. Recently we have released the first version of the application.
NB! The team starts working from 8 a.m. to have an intersection with the Australian time zone.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop major components of focused solutions using PEGA PRPC V8.X tools
- Ensure delivered work meets technical, functional, performance, and business requirements adhering to best practices
- Lead development activities
- Translate business requirements into design/application builds, ensuring alignment with specifications
- Implement Pega integration services using REST and SOAP
- Contribute to defining Pega best practices and provide guidance to team members
- Analyze, identify, and log enhancements/bugs for PEGA PRPC V8.7.x or above versions
- Implement best practices in PEGA architecture, design, and coding to improve efficiency and maintainability
- Collaborate effectively with Project and Product management
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in enterprise-level application development, including 3 years of expertise with Pega
- An advanced understanding of PEGA PRPC V8.X tools and architecture
- Experience with Pega Business Intelligence Exchange (BIX)
- Hands-on expertise in implementing Pega integration services using REST, SOAP
- Experience with Pega Customer Service Framework is preferred
- Solid understanding of Core Java and Object-Oriented concepts
- Proficiency in client-side technologies like HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Mandatory Certifications:
- Pega SSA (Senior System Architect) certification
