Murka is looking for a Marketing Data Analyst for the team that develops social casino games.
Responsibilities
Analyze and interpret large sets of marketing data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization.
Conduct an extensive analysis, covering all available data from ad impressions to users’ in-game behavior.
Monitor and track the performance of marketing campaigns, utilizing data to adjust strategies and maximize return on investment (ROI).
Create comprehensive and visually appealing reports and dashboards to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, game development, and business intelligence to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop data-driven strategies.
Assist in developing predictive models to forecast user behavior, identify potential risks, and guide strategic decision-making.
Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data analysis and gaming to continually improve the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in the gaming or mobile app industry.
Familiarity with mobile gaming metrics and industry-specific KPIs.
Highly proficient in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools such as Tableau, or Power BI
Hands-on experience with Python and/or R will be a plus
Strong proficiency in data manipulation, analysis, and visualization
Solid understanding of statistical concepts and experience with A/B testing methodologies.
Excellent communication skills to convey complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
A detail-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Excellent English communication and presentation skills
Passion for gaming and a deep interest in understanding player behavior and preferences.
