Backend Developer (PHP/Laravel)

Mticket is a Ukrainian product IT company and one of the leaders in ticketing automation and e-commerce solutions for large-scale events. We develop modern highload platforms for event management and ticket sales across Ukraine, Europe, and beyond.

We are now looking for a Backend Developer ready to work with large-scale systems, complex data, and modern tech stack.

Tech stack:

Backend: PHP 7/8, Laravel

Databases: MySQL, MongoDB, MariaDB, Elasticsearch

Infrastructure: AWS Cloud, DigitalOcean, GitLab CI/CD, Docker

Web servers & Monitoring: Nginx, Apache, Zabbix


Responsibilities:

Develop new modules and features for a highload system.

Maintain, refactor, and modernize existing code.

Write and optimize complex SQL queries.

Integrate 3rd-party services (APIs, payment gateways, etc.).

Participate in technical solution design.

Code review.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience with PHP (5.6—8.x).

Hands-on experience with Laravel.

Strong knowledge of MySQL/MongoDB.

Experience with query optimization and highload systems.

Git workflow & CI/CD knowledge.

Responsible, proactive, result-oriented.

Nice to have: Redis/Memcached, experience building highload services from scratch.

Event management system for organizers.

Widget for end-users (ticket buyers).

Payment gateway & scanning module.

End-to-end solution for event organization and servicing.
