Senior Game Artist

Moon Active is one of the world’s fastest-growing mobile game companies, providing entertainment to millions of active users across the world.

We are looking for a Senior Game Artist to join our team for our game — Zen Match. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mobile games and be an expert in 2D and 3D art creation for casual games. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a well-performing tile matching puzzle game with a rapidly growing player base.

Responsibilities:

• Develop visually appealing and highly polished 2D and 3D art assets for the game, including game blockers, tile icons, backgrounds and characters, while maintaining a cohesive art style.
• Sketch and bring a range of ideas for features for the game, following the product requirement, and render them as final game assets ready for implementation.
• Work closely with the UI artists, animators, and Game Designers to create and implement high-quality art assets that enhance the gameplay experience.
• Collaborate with the Art Director to ensure that all art assets meet the quality standards and vision of the game.
• Work together with the other artists in the team and provide guidance and feedback on their work.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest art trends and techniques in the industry and implement them in the game.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Game Artist with a portfolio showcasing your work in mobile games (preferably casual games).
• Expert in 2D and 3D art creation software such as Photoshop, Illustrator and Blender (or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of color theory, composition, lighting, and visual design principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• A passion for mobile games and a desire to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends.
• A self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
