About the Role
We are looking for a proactive Project Manager to join our remote WordPress team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a digital production environment, understands how websites are built, and can lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results on time.
You will be responsible for managing end-to-end delivery of custom WordPress projects — working closely with developers, designers, QA, and clients. Your job is to translate client needs into structured workflows, monitor progress, resolve blockers, and ensure each project aligns with quality, timeline, and business objectives.
This is a non-technical PM role, but familiarity with the WordPress ecosystem and digital best practices is essential for success.
Responsibilities
- Manage custom WordPress website projects from planning through launch
- Act as the main communication link between clients and internal teams (dev, design, QA)
- Convert client goals into structured tasks, timelines, and deliverables
- Track project milestones, dependencies, scope, and budgets
- Facilitate efficient internal communication through standups, updates, and documentation
- Flag risks and delays early, and support issue resolution collaboratively
- Ensure all deliverables meet expectations for quality, usability, and performance
- Maintain organized documentation, briefs, and task tracking in project management tools
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience managing web development or digital projects
- Strong understanding of WordPress project lifecycles, including custom theme delivery
- Experience working with cross-functional remote teams (design, development, QA, content)
- Clear and confident communicator — written and verbal (English and Ukrainian)
- Solid organizational skills and ability to prioritize across multiple projects
- Familiarity with web concepts such as responsive design, SEO, and page performance
- Proficiency in using project management platforms (e.g. Jira, Asana, Trello)
Nice to Have
- Background in performance- and SEO-focused website delivery
- Basic familiarity with the WordPress admin interface, custom themes, and plugin behavior
- Awareness of UX/UI principles and QA/testing workflows
- Understanding of version control concepts (e.g., Git branching or review processes)
