Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer with in-depth knowledge of Selenium WebDriver and proficiency in using tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Zephyr. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through the development and execution of automated test scripts. This role requires expertise in test automation frameworks, particularly with C# .NET, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain a robust and scalable test automation framework using C# .NET.
• Develop automated test scripts for web applications, covering functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Utilize Jira, Confluence, and Zephyr to create, manage, and execute test cases in alignment with project requirements.
• Identify and report defects accurately using the defined processes and tools.
• Execute automated tests, analyze test results, and collaborate with the team to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with QA and development teams to define test strategies, plans, and scope for automation.
• Enhance and optimize the test automation framework and test scripts for improved efficiency and coverage.
• Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and product owners to ensure effective testing and quality assurance.
• Provide mentoring and guidance to junior team members in test automation best practices and tools.
• Document test cases, test plans, and test results for future reference and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ of experience in software development projects of complex enterprise solutions.
• Proficient in both manual and automated testing techniques for web applications.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks (i.e., using Selenium WebDriver) and C# .NET.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web applications.
• Proficiency in using Jira, Confluence, and Zephyr for test case management, test planning, and collaboration.
• Proficient in C# .NET programming language for creating and enhancing automated test scripts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify defects, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment, collaborating closely with development and QA teams.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools for integrating test automation into the build pipeline.
• Thoroughness in test script development, execution, and result analysis.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
