Position Overview
We are looking for a Junior Finance Controller to support the Finance team in monthly period-end close processes and day-to-day accounting across AP, AR, and prepaid expenses.
The primary purpose of this role is to ensure data accuracy by preparing basic journal entries, maintaining registers, performing reconciliations, and supporting regular reporting.
You will work closely with the Financial Controller, assisting with daily operational tasks, data preparation, and maintaining financial discipline across the company.
This role involves hands-on participation in core accounting processes and offers strong growth opportunities in financial controlling within a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support monthly period-end close (AP, AR, Prepaid)
- Prepare basic journal entries and assist with cut-off procedures
- Maintain and update registers for:
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Prepare basic reconciliations for AP, AR, and prepaid balances
- Track prepaid expenses and prepare amortization schedules
- Prepare regular reports:
- AP / AR aging
- Prepaid movement
- Supporting files for period-end close
- Support Financial Controller with:
- Ad-hoc tasks
- Data preparation and simple analysis as requested
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level or higher
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Proactive attitude and desire to grow in a fast-paced, expanding company
