Position Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR Specialist to manage core employee lifecycle processes and ensure smooth day-to-day HR operations. In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for employees, maintain accurate HR documentation, and support compliance with Ukrainian labor law. You will play an important role in delivering a positive employee experience while collaborating closely with internal teams and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, probation, internal changes, and offboarding, ensuring compliance with Ukrainian labor law
- Manage employee benefits programs, including medical insurance and external learning programs (e.g., English language training), ensuring timely enrollment, changes, coordination and employee communication
- Maintain HR documentation related to employment, termination, leave requests, and military registration documents in cooperation with external vendors in compliance with Ukrainian labor law
- Own and constantly improve the end-to-end onboarding process to ensure a smooth employee experience
- Support and coordinate the probation period process, including monitoring timelines, communicating with stakeholders, completing probation reviews, and coordinating goal-setting
- Support internal engagement initiatives, including company events, celebrations and employee experience activities
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations and day-to-day HR inquiries, ensuring timely and professional support
- Maintain accurate HR data and internal records, ensuring consistency across systems and documentation
- Prepare regular HR reports and track key people metrics such as headcount, turnover, probation success rate, and retention
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in HR, People Operations, or HR Administration
- Experience handling HR documentation and employee records
- Good understanding of local labor law and HR compliance processes
- Hands-on experience with employee lifecycle processes (onboarding, probation, offboarding)
- Experience administering leave tracking processes and ensuring compliance with internal leave policies and procedures
- Experience supporting employees as a primary HR contact
- Experience working with HRIS and HR data/reporting tools
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple processes independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Upper-Intermediate English (B2+) or higher

- Experience in a fast-paced or scaling company environment
- Experience in the Military Tech industry
- Experience working with external HR, payroll, legal, or benefits providers
