Software Engineer (ML Infrastructure & Distributed Systems)

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and extend event-driven cloud systems, including data pipelines and internal tools, ensuring reliability and smooth operation
• Add features and improvements to internal platforms and services, including backend integrations with external systems
• Investigate and resolve production issues across services and infrastructure
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices within the team

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in building and maintaining production systems
• Strong programming skills in Python, with the ability to write clean, maintainable code
• Solid experience with relational databases
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Understanding of microservices and event-driven architecture
• Comfortable working in large, existing codebases and understanding complex systems quickly
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-moving, remote-first environment
• Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts and contribute to engineering decisions
• At least upper-intermediate professional English

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience working with computer vision or video processing pipelines
• General understanding of the ML lifecycle, including annotation, model training, versioning, and deployment
• Familiarity with annotation platforms such as CVAT or Label Studio
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform
• Experience working in a startup or product-driven environment
