About us:
We believe there is a strong need for new technological solutions in the defense of free people in conflicts around the world. Our team comprises experienced leaders from non-defense Silicon Valley startups who have seen this need first-hand and are committed to delivering.
We are focused on pushing real products into the field as quickly as possible, and we’re looking for a flexible Embedded Linux Engineer with a background in rapidly prototyping, hardening, and delivering compute platforms into medium-volume products.
The ideal candidate has experience working with distributed robotic systems or similar products combining multiple computing platforms with real-time sensing and control requirements.
They will be comfortable working across the stack — from microcontrollers to user applications — and collaborating with teams building application software, avionics, sensors, and comms.
Responsibilities
Design, develop and debug software for high-performance distributed embedded systems, ranging from embedded microcontrollers to user-facing applications.
Support evaluation, distribution and field operation of rapidly evolving hardware and software, working closely with multi-disciplinary software teams, flight test teams, customers, and technical support organizations.
Rapidly diagnose and root cause issues and develop effective and maintainable solutions.
Lead software initiatives to improve performance and effectiveness systemwide.
