Our ideal candidate:

• 5+ years of Software Engineering hands-on experience.
• 3+ years of experience with Golang.
• Experience with RDBMS (PostgreSQL is preferred).
• Experience with document-oriented DBs (MongoDB is preferred).
• Experience with key-value storages (Aerospike, Redis, Memcached, etc.).
• Good knowledge of Docker.
• CI/CD.
• Strong Problem-Solving Abilities: Able to break down complex tasks into manageable parts, ensuring efficient project progress.
• Independence and Decision-Making: Capable of making sound, independent decisions in a fast-paced setting, while open to seeking feedback when necessary.
• Effective Communication Skills: Able to communicate technical concepts clearly, both verbally and in writing, across different team members and stakeholders.
• Adaptability and Flexibility: Comfortable adapting to changing requirements and able to pivot quickly as project needs evolve.
• Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing: Willing to assist teammates, openly share knowledge, and work well within a collaborative environment.

Nice to have experience with:

• Monitoring.
• Performance testing.
• k8s.
• Scripting languages.
• Highload experience.
• GitOps

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement backend APIs and business logic necessary to support new and existing features.
• Give and receive code review feedback with the team.
• Organize, document and maintain software functionality.
• Participation in the company’s R&D projects related to media content.

The team’s responsibilities include:

• Market research for the latest media technologies.
• Creating projects to increase MEGOGO’s recognition as a top IT company (hackathon, new open-source projects).
• Creation of interactive products to improve UX. With us, the TV for the user should be more than just a TV.
