We are building The Tongue Teacher — a fast-growing healthtech product in dental & orthodontics (global and especially US market).
We are looking for a strong DevOps Engineer to take ownership of our infrastructure, with a focus on reliability, security, and high availability (SLA 99.99%).
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS / GCP / OVHcloud)
- Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines
- Deploy and manage backend services (FastAPI)
- Work with Dockerized environments
- Ensure high availability (failover, load balancing)
- Implement backup strategies & disaster recovery
- Set up monitoring, alerting, and logging
- Optimize performance and infrastructure costs
- Ensure security best practices
- Prepare infrastructure for HIPAA-compliant environments (US medical data)
Tech Environment
- Backend: FastAPI (Python)
- Architecture: API-based
- Mobile apps (iOS / Android)
- Infrastructure: AWS / GCP / OVHcloud (to be structured)
- DevOps: Docker, CI/CD, monitoring tools
Profile
- 3+ years in DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure
- Strong experience with Docker and CI/CD
- Experience with AWS (preferred) or GCP
- Solid understanding of production systems, scaling, and failure handling
- Experience with monitoring and system reliability
- Autonomous, structured, and ownership mindset
- English — required for daily communication
Nice to Have
- Experience with OVHcloud
- Experience with failover architectures and load balancers
- Knowledge of high availability systems (SLA 99.9% / 99.99%)
- Experience with HIPAA or healthcare-related infrastructure
- Kubernetes / Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
