Big Data Engineer (вакансія неактивна)

MWDN company is looking for a self-motivated and goal oriented Big Data Engineer who would like to be a part of a team working on brand new startup projects for foreign customers.

Professional Requirements:

Deep understanding software product lifecycle, quality assurance approaches
Experience of direct communication with client
English: intermediate, both oral and written

Responsibilities:

Design and implementation of groundbreaking software for large scale systems, big data and artificial intelligence.
Think out of the box and come up with solutions quickly to help business in making time sensitive decisions
Automate solutions and optimize outcomes focusing on data engineering, continuous integration and continuous deployment.

Technical Experience:

5+ years experience in Java/Scala or other functional programming language.
Minimum of 3 years experience implementing large-scale production systems
In-depth knowledge of database concepts, architecture and strong knowledge of SQL.
Hands-on experience with wide range of Big Data technologies including Hadoop / Spark / Kafka / HBase / Kudu / Cassandra.
Experience managing source in git (GitHub ops, branching, merging, etc) — Advantage
Knowledge of data mining algorithms including classifiers, clustering algorithms and anomaly detection techniques. — Big Advantage
Practical understanding of linear algebra & statistics, and a passion for building machine learning models & systems. — Big Advantage
Team player, highly motivated, strong problem solving skills and Results oriented
