Position Overview:
Mealco is redefining the restaurant industry by helping operators unlock new revenue through innovative delivery-only brands. We are looking for a proactive and resourceful Customer Support Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the frontline problem-solver, handling complex customer interactions and ensuring seamless coordination between restaurants, couriers, and ordering platforms.

The ideal candidate is a quick thinker who thrives in fast-paced environments, takes initiative, and can manage multiple cases from start to finish. This is an opportunity to play a critical role in delivering outstanding customer experiences and driving the success of a growing food-tech company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of customer inquiries and resolve complex cases by coordinating across multiple stakeholders (restaurants, couriers, consumers, and platform partners).
  • Respond to support requests promptly and accurately, ensuring customer satisfaction at every touchpoint.
  • Use tools like Intercom, Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets, Slack, and ChatGPT to streamline support operations and track customer interactions.
  • Proactively identify recurring issues and suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.
  • Escalate critical issues as needed while maintaining responsibility for ensuring timely resolution.
  • Assist in updating knowledge bases and FAQs to reduce common support inquiries.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and customer service alignment.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in customer support or a similar role, ideally in tech, hospitality, or service environments.
  • Work experience at food delivery companies such as Uber Eats, DoorDash, Grubhub, Glovo, Bolt, or similar is highly desirable.
  • Experience working in restaurants or the hospitality industry is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple customer cases simultaneously.
  • Experience with tools such as Intercom, Slack, Excel/Google Sheets, and ChatGPT (or similar).
  • Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and under pressure.

  • Full-time remote position.
  • Work will be in US time zones (in shifts).
