We are looking for an experienced Agile Coach / Scrum Master to guide our teams at MD Finance in adopting and optimizing Agile practices. In this role, you will lead the Agile transformation across our development teams, facilitating key Scrum ceremonies, and coaching team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement. Your expertise will be vital in removing roadblocks, refining processes, and enabling our teams to achieve greater autonomy and efficiency.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the Agile transformation and implement Scrum across development teams.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and ensure the team adheres to Agile practices.
- Coach teams on Agile principles, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain a well-refined backlog.
- Remove impediments to enable smooth delivery and team autonomy.
- Provide training and mentorship on Agile practices, including coaching future Scrum Masters.
- Track team performance through Agile metrics and suggest improvements
Expected Results:
- Successfully introduce and fully implement Scrum across development teams, ensuring regular ceremonies.
- Coach team members to the point of running Scrum independently.
- Train at least one additional Scrum Master to help scale Agile across multiple teams.
- Establish a culture of continuous improvement and team accountability.
- Improve team velocity and predictability through effective sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Facilitate seamless communication between distributed teams and Product Owners.
- Ensure measurable improvement in delivery rate and product quality, aligned with Agile principles.
Professional Qualifications:
- Proven track record of leading Agile/Scrum transformations, particularly in environments with low Agile maturity.
- 3+ years of experience as an Agile Coach or Scrum Master in a technology-driven company.
- Deep understanding of Scrum, Agile principles, and best practices.
- Strong facilitation and coaching skills, with the ability to engage distributed teams effectively.
- Experience with Jira and related tools for backlog management and continuous delivery.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to foster collaboration between distributed team members.
- Ability to conduct training sessions and mentor team members towards self-organisation.
- Experience in scaling Agile practices across multiple teams.
Additional (Nice to Have):
- Knowledge of scaled Agile frameworks such as SAFe, LeSS, or Nexus.
- A technical background with a good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
