We are looking for a skilled Business Development Associate to join the Maven team.
Maven Research, Inc (www.maven.co) is a rapidly-growing venture-backed SaaS company. We provide our customers an alternative to traditional consulting firms or primary research services.
The overall purpose of the role is to support the Maven Research Sales Team across the sales value chain. As a Business Development Associate, you will help to drive sales and identify new business opportunities.
🔲 What we look for in candidates:
- At least 2 years of demonstrated success selling information services and solutions
- Ability to work and deliver under minimal supervision / independently
- Comfortable using Salesforce, knowledge of b2b lead-generating tools and techniques
- Experience with phone-based sales and cold email marketing
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively while ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Full business proficiency in English and excellent communication skills
- Reach out to potential customers via phone, email, social media, and other channels to help generate new leads and opportunities
- Assist in executing the lead generation process and work alongside sales teams to develop and grow the sales pipeline
- Track all activities in Salesforce, ensuring all information is up-to-date
- Follow up with prospective customers via phone or email, conduct product demos, and support the sales team in closing deals
