Importance of the role

As a designer at Matic, you will be the voice of the user and help build experiences that simplify the complicated world of insurance. You will both help optimize current experiences and imagine new ones as Matic continues to disrupt the industry.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with our data, product, and engineering teams in a cross-functional team to create world-class designs
  • Experiment, iterate, build, repeat. Drive optimization through experimentation and analysis
  • Translate user insights and data analytics into actionable hypotheses that you can test
  • Understand what key metrics drive growth and create designs that help get us there.

Must-have skills

  • 2+ years of relevant design experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field
  • A strong portfolio that demonstrates your design skill and an understanding of user-centered design
  • Working knowledge of standard design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch)

Nice-to-have skills

  • Motion design skills
  • Quantitative and qualitative design research ability
  • Startup experience
