Senior QA Engineer (вакансія неактивна)

Our company has multiple rapidly developing products tightly integrated with each other with complex business logic for Homeowners Insurance. You’re going to work on Servicing Product, which holds information about millions of customers and regularly looks for better insurance options for each of our customers.

Day to day duties:

— Analysis and clarification of application requirements
— Planning, estimation, and execution of system testing and system integration testing
— Planning and execution of performance testing where required
— Updating test documentation
— Creating and executing test cases and documenting the results
— Working on API automation when required
— Working on GUI automation for E2E business flows
— Highlighting quality risks
— Proposing improvements to existing development and testing processes
— Switching to other important projects when required
— Email Deliverability testing

Must have skills:

— Passion for quality 😉
— You are ISTQB Foundations level certified professional
— Hands-on experience with testing of non-GUI applications/services, system integration testing
— Experience with Web, API testing and GUI automation
— SQL knowledge
— The desire to learn insurance domain (state regulations, compliance, custom carrier integrations)

Nice to have:

— Understanding of Ruby
— Hands-on performance testing
— Ability to write and update automation tests (Ruby)

— Postman — API testing
— Jmeter — performance testing
— PSequel — database management

What am I going to do when I join Matic?
We are developing several endpoints for customers to get insurance, integration with our partners and a back portal for our insurance agency. We have core products in several smaller services that solve a single business goal. You will collaborate with our cross-functional teams to ship new, impactful features or new products to the market.

Why are we different?
Working in small teams with a lot of influence and, therefore responsibility, we are changing the insurance market in the USA. So we prefer to work with generalists that could deliver high-quality work and be flexible.
