The conversion engineer is responsible for converting (i.e. segments) medical MRI/CT images into 3D anatomical models. The next main responsibility is landmarking and pre-planning: creating points and axes for further surgery planning.
Responsibilities
— Conversion Engineer is responsible for the interpretation of patient medical images and converting them into 3D models which will be used for the creation of patient-specific instruments.
Requirements
— Technical background is required;
— English: at least pre-intermediate;
— Good communication skills;
— A successful candidate should be open-minded, positive thinking, a quick learner, and a communicative person.
Will be a plus
— MS/BS degree in biomedical engineering or medicine;
— Knowledge of 3D CAD/medical imaging or anatomy.
