It’s a job directly for a Product company. Full remote.

Peanut is a social network for women to connect across fertility and motherhood. So far, over 1 million women have joined to build friendships, find support, and learn from one another.

Peanut was created with the idea that no woman should have to navigate motherhood without a support network. Our mission is to provide a safe space for all women to form new friendships, find their communities, and provide support to each other.

Since 2017, over 1 million women have joined. We’ve grown quickly across the US and other countries, and received numerous honors from Apple, the New York Times, Good Morning America, and the BBC to name a few.

Now the Development team is 33 people, 11 engineers (only Senior level)

The company raised Series A, in the process of raising Series B.

Key requirements:

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience, including 3+ years with Ruby on Rails.
• Strong skills with relational databases (eg. PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Experience with high user scale OR high performance OR high data volumes
• Experience working in a startup environment.
• Experience in performing DevOps tasks (AWS is preferred)
• English — at least Upper-intermediate (spoken/written)

Hiring process:

• Initial interview (1h, with our engineer, mostly for a cultural fit)
• Offline tech task (2-4h)
• Tech interview (1.5h, with 1-2 engineers)
• Final interview (1h, with our CEO and our CTO)
