So, we are looking for a qualified Team Leader to manage our team and provide effective guidance.
You will be responsible for supervising, managing and motivating team members on a daily basis. As a team leader, you will be the contact point for all team members, so your communication skills should be excellent. You should also be able to act proactively to ensure smooth team operations and effective collaboration. Ultimately, you should lead by setting a good example and engage the team to achieve goals.
— Leadership and mentoring of a dynamic software development team (around 8 developers: python, node.js, js frontend) working in Agile
— Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture (team cooperation, brainstormings, quality aimed)
— Set clear team goals (professional development for each developer from the team is critically important)
— Delegate tasks and set deadlines (we use JIRA with our Project Manager, who is responsible for all processing)
— Oversee day-to-day operation
— Motivate team members (we are fans of what we do and shouldn’t forget about it)
— Listen to team members’ feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts
— Recognize high performance and reward accomplishments
— Encourage creativity and risk-taking
— Suggest and organize team building activities
— At least two years of experience in leading a development team
— At least three years of experience as a developer (one year in Python would be nice). The main team language is python
— Experience in object-oriented design methodology and large-scale application development
— Work experience in large-scale system development is an advantage
