Senior Project Manager

We are an e-commerce software development agency with over 12 years of experience in the market. Our focus is on serving online stores in North America, the EU, and the UK, leveraging platforms such as Magento, Shopify, and Shopware.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for owning projects from their inception or earliest stage, collaborating with customers/business stakeholders to establish project vision and goals, and ensuring successful project execution. Additionally, you will be expected to manage resources, monitor key performance indicators, and contribute to improving project life cycles.

Requirements:

• 4-5 years of commercial experience in project management, preferably in international teams
• Strong experience working with Magento
• Profound knowledge of project management processes, methodologies, and tools
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for effective customer and team interaction
• Leadership skills
• Strong experience working with Jira/Confluence
• Advanced English level
• Nice to have: Magento Certifications

Responsibilities:

🥇 Project Ownership & Leadership:

• Take charge of assigned projects from the beginning, guiding them through all stages, including idea development, planning, execution, and delivery
• Spot potential challenges early and create solutions to ensure project success

💼 Pre-Sale & Up-Sale Activities:

• Work with sales and account teams during the pre-sale phase to provide insights, estimates, and technical advice that meet client needs
• Identify additional opportunities within existing accounts, suggest new solutions, and expand ongoing projects

🚀 Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Work closely with customers, business stakeholders, and teams across departments to define the project’s vision, goals, and deliverables
• Ensure clear communication among stakeholders to keep everyone aligned on project goals and product features

💻 Project Planning & Execution:

• Create detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, risk management, and budgets
• Oversee the execution of projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards

📊 Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering:

• Serve as the main business analyst on projects, working with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document their needs
• Turn business requirements into actionable plans, technical specs, and user stories, making sure everything aligns with the project goals

📋 Continuous Improvement & Best Practices:

• Lead efforts to improve by analyzing project outcomes and applying best practices to future projects
• Keep up with industry trends and innovations to ensure the company’s e-commerce solutions stay competitive

🤝 Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work with development, design, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution and alignment with the product roadmap
• Organize regular project status meetings, updating all stakeholders and ensuring clear communication throughout the project

📈 Risk Management:

• Identify and address risks associated with the project to manage potential issues proactively
• Develop contingency plans to handle unexpected challenges and ensure the project stays on track
