We are looking for an SMM manager for a part-time job from anywhere in the world.

MadAppGang is a custom development company headquartered in Australia, Sydney.

It was founded by an experienced software engineer, Jack Rudenko, in 2011. We have outsourcing and outstaffing projects.

MadAppGang’s engineering culture is focused on development and work, not bullshit and bureaucracy. Our company was created by engineers for engineers to work with maximum efficiency and pleasure in a team with cool professionals. The company’s culture is based on Rework and Remote from 37Signals.

Our team

The development team is distributed and works remotely from different parts of the world. It consists of 40 amazing people: a founder/CTO, CEO, backend, frontend, mobile developers, an Art director, a UX/UI designer, DevOps engineers, a QA engineer, and Project managers.

The team is mostly Russian-speaking, but we are moving towards diversity now.

Our projects

We develop digital products for the web, mobile and cloud. Years of experience and numerous projects with clients of different calibre from all around the globe give us the ability to tailor digital solutions that perfectly balance complexity, delivery time and cost. Over the past decade, we`ve built dozens of solutions for the fintech, energy, healthcare, fitness, transportation, and food industries.

All our projects are international (Europe, Middle East, and Australia). Therefore, our second language of communication is English.

The role

As our founder is CTO, who is passionate about sharing the company’s technical experience with the world, he needs assistance with SMM activities for the tech PR of MadAppGang.

Additionally, we would like to involve you in the social media management of our founder’s personal information project about a healthy lifestyle.

Your future tasks

• Build creative social media campaigns for foreign markets.
• Analyze suitable international platforms with the target audience we need (B2B as potential clients, B2C as potential candidates, and also B2C for a health project).
• Creation of design and video concepts for publications (posts, stories, reels).
• Content packaging and promotion.

It is essential for us that you have

• Skills in commercial SMM management.
• Interest in and understanding IT (ideally work experience in IT companies) as well as wellness areas.
• Design and video editing skills.
• A portfolio you are proud of and not ashamed to share.
• Сreative approach in SMM and great sense of humour — you really can make people laugh even on serious topics.
• Great taste and a sense of style, and people around you constantly tell you about it.
• Readiness for a part-time job.
• Confident written English (at least B2).
• It’s perfect if your time zone is from GMT+2 to GMT+11.
• Readiness to solve a test task.
