Front-End Developer for Setapp Growth (вакансія неактивна)

We are looking for a proactive Front-End developer to join our Growth Team. If you enjoy learning about new technologies and bringing new ideas to the table — this position is a great fit.

Setapp is a web+desktop service which lets the user get unlimited access to the library of applications right on their Mac. For a subscription fee, it gives you the opportunity to use all these quality apps you’ve always wanted to try out — without the need to buy and install each app individually.

We are building a new team to speed up the growth for Setapp. Setapp growth team blends people with engineering, design, product, and marketing backgrounds in one unit to work in quick iterative experiment cycles aimed at increasing growth rate.

Growth Team’s goal is to discover new acquisition tactics and conversion funnel optimization through testing new means. We are looking for a person who knows how to work with analytics and is willing to participate in the generation and validation of ideas with marketers.

We are planning a lot of experiments with how we acquire and activate our users. You will be responsible for front-end part of that process.

Responsibilities

— Create the new website pages
— Participate in the ongoing improvements of Setapp website UI and UX (landings, blog, user account)
— Create new and improve existing registration and payment flows
— Keep up with all the latest technologies and constantly look for ways to implement them in your work
— Collaborate with other teams when needed (desktop team on web-based parts for macOS applications)

Requirements

— 3+ years of experience with HTML5, CSS3
— 1-2 years of experience with JavaScript (in Growth Team we don’t use JS frameworks like React, Angular etc.)
— Being able to test your own work and create a stable cross-browser experience
— Experience with Webpack or other module bundlers
— Experience with animations
— Experience with CSS pre-processors like SCSS, Less, Stylus
— Experience with Git

As a plus

— Experience with ES6
— Experience with template engines (Twig, Blade, etc.)
— Creating unit tests with Jest
— Acquaintance with Docker, PHP
