We are looking for a talented QA Engineer to join the team of CleanMyPC. It’s a Windows app which scans the whole PC to clean up junk files, speed it up, and boost its performance.

We are in search of a QA professional with strong background in manual testing. It is very important for us you like Windows platform because CleanMyPC plunges deep into the desktop system.

You’ll join a cross-functional team of 5 people as the only QA Engineer, so we will expect you to make independent decisions and fully own the Quality Assurance process. CleanMyPC is partly covered with automation tests in C#, we use Page Object pattern and TestStack White framework up to date. So you should be ready to learn and work on this tech stack.

Responsibilities

Develop and support testing infrastructure
— Estimate, prioritize, plan, and execute testing activities
— Manual testing
— Review requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
— Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
— Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
— Test automation development: design, develop and execute automation scripts

Requirements

— Strong manual testing skills
— Experience with automation at least on pet or educational projects
— Windows platform knowledge
— At least Intermediate level of written English
— Extremely detail oriented, investigator and troubleshooter
— Able to make independent decisions, self-supervising

As a plus

— Experience in setting up QA processes from scratch
— Knowledge of C# or other programing languages
— Experience in testing desktop applications
— Experience working in SCRUM teams
— Experience with continuous integration using e.g Bamboo, Teamcity etc.
