We’re looking for a detail-oriented Content Editor for the marketing team of our flagship product — CleanMyMac X.
CleanMyMac X has been recognized through numerous awards and reviews as one of the best Mac cleaning apps. It scans the entire macOS, removes junk and malware, and brings a Mac back to its original fast performance.

If you join us, you will be responsible for checking the quality of the blog articles and editing and updating old ones with recent information. You’ll make sure the articles correspond with our writing style guide, are helpful and fun, and that all recommendations are correct and up-to-date.
About 80% of your job will be helping the team with revising and updating our blog. It means you will be editing and writing content seen by millions of users worldwide. Our blog competes with such resources as MacWorld, MacRumors, 9to5mac, and even with Apple Support pages.
That’s why we need a person with both copywriting and proofreading skills whose attention to detail is impeccable but who also has a creative and fun note to add to the — we won’t lie, somewhat similar — texts about macOS functionality.

In this role, you will:

• Check the quality of our blog articles, proofread and edit them (examples)
• Update the old, poorly-performing content with the latest information on the subject. If required — rewrite them
• Publish new articles via the site admin panel (incl. making sure everything’s right — formatting, screenshots, illustrations, links, etc.)
• Brief the designers to create visuals
• Help the team with other copywriting tasks

Skills you’ll need to bring:

• Impeccable English
• 2+ years of experience as a Content Editor / Proofreader
• Experience in editorship, proofreading, and content creation
• Superb attention to detail
• Great teamwork skills

As a plus:

• Experience in writing software marketing materials
• Experience with Mac platform/software
• Experience with WordPress or another CMS
• Knowledge of analytics
