Security Ops Engineer (вакансія неактивна)

We are looking for a Security Ops Engineer to help us protect the cloud infrastructure of MacPaw. This is the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology stack and implement processes from scratch, your way. The ideal candidate is someone who has a passion to reveal potential weaknesses and then craft creative solutions to eliminate those weaknesses.

You will work with the Security Engineer, report to the Head of Information Security, and closely collaborate with developers and the DevOps team. You will cover information security directions, from embedding the best practices of AWS and GCP Information Security, Vulnerability management, to DevSecOps activities. This role requires excellent communication skills and a great sense of responsibility.

Responsibilities

— Develop and enhance security standards and practices
— Develop and implement an infrastructure security strategy
— Perform analysis on threats, vulnerabilities, and breaches
— Conduct vulnerability scans of applications and networks
— Evaluate technologies and tools
— Troubleshoot and fix infrastructure issues
— Write and update documentation

Requirements

— Good understanding of the Information Security aspects
— 3+ years of experience in threat management and security operations
— Passion for learning about adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) and interest in creating innovative detection techniques
— Strong experience with scripting and automation
— Experience in the investigation of security events and incidents is strongly preferred
— Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
— Willingness to learn and improve
— At least Intermediate English level

As a Plus

— Experience working with AWS or GCP
— Experience with SSO solutions
— Experience with Kubernetes and Terraform
