· 5+ years’ experience in an enterprise architect, IT architect, or IT strategy consultant role
· 7+ years’ experience in a technical role such as software engineer, solutions engineer, or similar
· Demonstrated experience with large-scale enterprise projects involving technology
· Strong customer focus and product management mindset
· Solid understanding of business principles and business strategy development
· Experience with IT or business architecture principles, modeling, methods, and tools
· Must be a team player able to work effectively at all levels of an organization with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus. Must be highly reliable, trustworthy, honest, and commitment oriented
· Security compliance (PCI,HIPAA, ISO)
· Solid knowledge of AWS and Azure service/resources

Luxoft requires Solution Architects to have a technical depth and breadth across multiple technical domains. Our Solution Architects are required to be generalists in the field of Information Technology, have the ability to translate technical subjects to business and senior stakeholders and have the ability to engage and work with technical SME domain owners, such as network, security, compute (Public/Private), automation and storage.

The client underwent a transformation from publishing books to publishing information, they are more of a software company now. This transformation was performed through a number of acquisitions, hence the current customer’s IT structure is inconsistent and painful to manage.

As an example, they have over 100 different Active Directory domains with very different IT standards inside.

The purpose of the Data Center Consolidation initiative is to bring all of these organizations to a standard deployment model (app support, DB support, cloud support etc), to support applications within this single model.

In order of preference and according to per-application limitations, apps will be migrated to Public Cloud, Private Cloud, Hybrid Solution, or to OnPrem Virtual Machine.
The choice of specific technology (like AWS or Azure) will be made based on user requirements and existing customers integrations.
For the migration, all the application aspects and integrations should be considered, e.g. migrating storage, load balancing and security.
