— Bachelor’s Degree in software engineering (graduating year — BAC+5 preferable).
— Minimum 5 years of experience in developing software OR Master’s degree with 3 years of experience.
— English fluent (min. Upper Intermediate Level).

— Minimum 2 years of experience in developing software in an agile or extreme programming environment.
— Experience in building software using Javascript, JQuery, HTML5, CSS, JSON, XML, AngularJs, Backbone & Polymer, REST, Protractor or Web Component Tester.
— Strong background in object oriented design principles, data structures and algorithms and computer science fundamentals.
— Effective problem solving abilities, oral and written communication skills.
— Strong interpersonal skills.
— Experience with Windows and Unix / Linux based programming.
— Passion for building great user experiences, collaborating with the User research, engineering, product management and quality teams.
— Strong programming experience in Java or any other Object Oriented programming language and Unit Testing.
— Has the ability to break down problems and estimate time for development tasks.
— Has the ability to take ownership of tasks and deliver without supervision while using their discretion to seek help when necessary.
— Recognizes collaborative behavior and participates in collaborative activities.
— Identifies opportunities for innovation and offers new ideas.
— Takes the initiative to experiment with new software frameworks.

You will be responsible for programming a component, feature or feature set. You will contribute to the team and work independently with directions from the Senior Team Members or management. You will be mainly accountable for engineering application for a new cloud service with a focus on delivery of feature at web scale, in fully virtualized IaaS and PaaS operating environments.

In this role you will:
— Be responsible for defining, developing, and evolving software in a fast paced and agile development environment using the latest software development technologies and infrastructure.
— Engineer the services delivered in an “as-a-service” model.
— Translate requirements defined as user stories and deliver to required timelines and quality standards.
— Write unit test cases and end to end test cases.
— Support process improvements which guide the development, sustaining & support activities.
— Coach, mentor junior team members.
— Work cross functionally with other business departments to align activities and deliverables.
— Drive world-class quality in the development and support of products.
— Communicate effectively within the team.
— Engage subject matter experts in successful transfer of complex domain knowledge.
— Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques.
— Write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project.
— Understand performance parameters and assess application performance.
— Work on core data structures and algorithms and implement them using technology chosen.
— Proactively share information across the team, to the right audience with the appropriate level of detail and timeliness.
— Contribute to ensure that back-end developers are able to develop and converge into development, pre-production, and production environments utilizing a common workflow.

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to work on a new exciting project that will have a very positive impact on our client’s business.
You will contribute to the new product development and participate in the innovative development on latest IoT platform.
This is a new Asset Performance Management product in the our client’s Grid Software Solution portfolio. This is a vertical product built on top of software developed by our client featured on e-terraassetcare existing legacy application (quite new, developed by Luxoft team from the very beginning). It supports asset manager to take decision on maintenance, replacement and inspection of Grid equipment’s from generation, transmission to distribution of energy deployed on the field collecting online condition data from energized assets and builds smart Business Intelligence synthesis offering Key Performances Indexes like Asset Health Index. It couples Business Intelligence dashboards and web map service to build up a common situational awareness of the operational status of asset’s fleet.
The project team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer Front End — Cloud Service with experience in building web based software and analytics in a distributed architectures; with strong communication skills, and a motivation to achieve results in a fast paced environment.
