— Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in software engineering. (graduating year — BAC+5 preferable).
— A minimum of 3 years of experience in software development or systems administration.
— English fluent (min. Upper Intermediate Level).
— Excellent Linux system administration skills.
— Excellent scripting skills that can be applied in live service environments (Ruby, Python, Bash, PowerShell).
— Familiarity with POO, Java and Unit Testing.
— Familiarity with JSON and RESTful Service.
— Have a solid understanding of the underlying infrastructure needed to run a large distributed web application.
— Has the ability to break down problems and estimate time for development tasks.
— Has the ability to take ownership of small tasks and deliver without supervision while using their discretion to seek help when necessary.
— Recognizes collaborative behavior and participates in collaborative activities.
— Identifies opportunities for innovation and offers new ideas.
— Takes the initiative to experiment with new software frameworks.
— Adapts to new environments and changing requirements.

— Familiarity with cloud automation and orchestration technologies such as Chef, Bosh, Cloud Foundry, Piston, Mesos, etc.
— Familiarity with one or more application or data service technologies such as RabbitMQ, Postgres, Redis, Cassandra, etc.
— Middleware.
— Web services (SOAP).

The project team is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer — Cloud Service with experience building Continuous Integration and Delivery pipelines for distributed systems and services-based architectures; with strong communication skills, and a motivation to achieve results in a fast paced environment.

You will contribute to the new product development and participate in the innovative development on latest IoT platform.
This is a new Asset Performance Management product in the our client’s Grid Software Solution portfolio. This is a vertical product built on top of software developed by our client featured on e-terraassetcare existing legacy application (quite new, developed by Luxoft team from the very beginning). It supports asset manager to take decision on maintenance, replacement and inspection of Grid equipment’s from generation, transmission to distribution of energy deployed on the field collecting online condition data from energized assets and builds smart Business Intelligence synthesis offering Key Performances Indexes like Asset Health Index. It couples Business Intelligence dashboards and web map service to build up a common situational awareness of the operational status of asset’s fleet.
