- Project Description:
You will be part of the Future Factory team tasked to transform and equip the large Manufacturer with digital solutions, skills and knowledge to strengthen World Class Manufacturing for competitive advantage. You will be responsible to make sure the standard solutions and services deployed integrate with the existing landscape in a proper and documented way. - Responsibilities:
• Lead Hybrid Cloud infrastructure team members on technical decision-making, code reviews, and enforcing engineering practices, standards, and DevOps platforms.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the software development life cycle and focus on the delivery of quality solutions.
• Coordinate software architecture implementation and modification activities
• Design and direct the governance activities associated with ensuring the practice development and compliance
• Assess the performance of, and value delivered by a solution in use, or under review, and recommend removal of barriers or constraints that prevent the full realization of the value
• Carry out architectural design and documentation, re-using output from all other architects, joining detailed technical solutions to the overall architectural landscape, and focusing on enterprise-level digital solutions for manufacturing
• Estimate the financial impact of software architecture alternatives
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to accelerate the use of industrial data and analytics services in the global SKF Manufacturing footprint
• In-depth, hands on experience in defining and implementing edge and private & public cloud computing architectures, and so-called edge-cloud architectures, with Microsoft Hyper-V and Microsoft Azure technologies
• Support the global SKF community with knowledge about industrial control-systems and manufacturing digitalization
• Develop OT/IT product roadmaps and workflows
• Identify new opportunities and ideas, as well as continuously improve existing solutions and methodologies
• Coordinate the connection of manufacturing operation technologies (OT) and business information technologies (IT) through construction, maintenance, and expansion of the organization’s data-centered systems
• Manage the infrastructure systems and network documentation, and the upgrade of infrastructure systems and networks from a mix of legacy infrastructure systems, networks and fieldbuses into modern digital platform infrastructure and network platform for OT/IT - Mandatory Skills Description:
We expect you to have:
•Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills to contribute as a leading member of global, distributed teams focused on delivering quality services and solutions for the global SKF Manufacturing footprint
• MSc in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or similar
• 10+ years overall experience in working various positions within IT, advantageous if with IT/digital transformation projects, and in an international environment
• 5+ years in enterprise or solution architecture role using relevant service and hosting solutions, advantageous if with Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services technology platforms
• Experience in large scale design, implementation and operations
• In-depth, hands on experience in defining and implementing a DevOps practice
• Experience with DevOps practice management, backlogs, CI/CD, automation and containerization technologies such as K8S, Redhat OpenShift, Terraform and relevant Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services technologies
• Experience in software development and agile practices with multiple programming languages, Python or C#
• Experience in Cloud Native Architectures, REST and APIs, Microservices, Git, Docker, K8S, SQL, NoSQL, Messaging
• Experience in Cloud Computing, as well as Edge Computing with relevant Public Cloud IaaS and PaaS services, advantageous if with infrastructure architecture and best practices experience
• Broad technical understanding & hands on implementation experience in software development techniques, processes, methods and best practices
• Certified Azure Administrator Associate, Certified Azure Security Engineer Associate
• Broad technical understanding & hands on implementation experience
• Advanced in English, both verbal and in writing
